I purchased these boots and 2days later they were there - the box the came in was old and torn but the shoes were in perfect new condition. I found it a little hard to walk in at first being that the shoe goes over your knee so it makes it harder to bend you leg. But that was easily fixed by rolling the top of the shoe over to make it just above your knee - and gives the shoe an extra funky look. Will purchase from this seller without any question. THANKS

This is a great bargain! Though the shoe is not real leather, and therefore requires some stretching with a heavy sock before actually wearing, they stretch pretty well. I do NOT recommend putting them on and wearing them for a long period of time. Definitely take some time to break them in REALLY good. To some, this would affect their rating. Because I have a hard time finding my size, 12 womens, to find a stylish shoe and at such a price! I'm happy.

These boots are made quite nicely, and photograph very well! I like how the side zippers don't go all the way up the boot, just the inside of the calf, giving the concealment of the zipper a big plus.

All and all, looks good with other real leather apparel, and not the cheap appearance of pleather or patent leather.

I bought a similar pair that only go to just below the knee, and these look even better than those! The upper thigh section isn't too big, and not too small.... just right. The over all fit of the boot was very good!

I did, however, relace the back with a different material, but that was more for asthetics, and to match the leather corset I bought to go with these boots. The original lacing is also leather, but a bit stiff.

I must say I was concerned that they wouldn't fit my leg because I am not a small girl I am a size 10-12 in clothes and they actually fit. The only negative thing about the boot is that the leather is pretty dull compared to some cow leather boots I own. They are pretty comfortable I wore them out and didn't have any problems with my feet hurting. I would say they fit true to size.

Great boots and comfortable to wear. I have looked at a lot of this style boots and was worried they would not fit my calfs (15-1/2" and 22" thights). I thought you would like to know you don't have to have those tiny legs in order to wear these boots. However I have short legs inseam 30" so they cover most of my legs so I just fold over the flap just a little bit about 2" or so and it worked great! I bought a size up but wish they came in half sizes because they are a little big. I Love them!!

This is actually my first pair of thigh high boots, but certainly not the last. Really good quality. Soft leather. doesn't look cheap. These are truly awesome boots for a guy like me. I've had experience with 4 and 5 inch heels before but these are super easy to get used to and walk in. Good fit and they look so SUPER. The leather is good quality and the short ankle zipper is a lot easier than a full length one. I bought a second pair for when the first pair wears out.

THE GOOD:

1. It's decent material that doesn't look really cheap like I would expect for that price (although I think it's either not real leather, or it's scrap leather bits that have been pressed back into a sheet).

2. It's super comfy to walk in for that heel (of course it's not a sneaker).

3. The tie up the back is super cute!

4. It's lightweight and easy to store because it folds up without wrinkling or creasing

5. If you fold over the top, it looks like a pirate boot - great for Halloween.

THE BAD:

1. It's waaaaay too long for me. I'm 5'3" and it goes up almost to my crotch. Most my short skirts would cover or skim the top so no good if I wanted to show some leg. I thought it was an over the knee boot - not a thigh high.

2. It's definitely NOT a 5" heel. I have 5" heels and this boot is at least 1 to 2" shorter and there isn't much of a platform if any in the front so I would say it's more a 3.5" heel.

3. I kind of expected that the thigh would be a little big because I have thin legs but these were super spacious. I can almost fit both thighs inside one boot. Although it looks fine loose (it actually makes it look more classy loose) it may or may not be what you're looking for.

Overall - if you're shorter and thinner (I'm less than 100 lbs) this boot might only work for costume wear because they'll be too big and tall for regular wear. If I were a bigger and taller person, I'll probably give this boot a higher rating.

For this price the look very well. The boots are high, so mini skirt would be the best. You will not be able to walk around regardless heel is only 4". I usually wear 3-6" heels and do not feel discomfort. With these lower back will start hurting, may be, it is due to heels which are not stable or may be they used manicken not a human leg to adjust the foot. it's more like a dull red ...almost maroonish

looks best if not wearing something red 'close' to the boots ...like a red top & jean skirt or black skirt.

Good quality & not enough of a reason to send them back but would deffinatly say if your looking for or have to have the 'bright red' as shown in the picture, look for another boot.

However I work at a Ren Fair in October and this year all we had was RAIN. I'd already had 3 different boots/shoes at the fair site, when I remember these boots. I had no idea how good they would be for the situation but I was running out of options as the other ones just weren't cutting it. For the past 3 weekends I have worn them all day long in mud and wet and often standing water. My feet were comfortable the whole time and only by then end of the day did my feet start to even get a little damp. I had done nothing to them to seal them or anything this was straight out of the box. I'm really happy about the purchase. Now trying to find something similar for my husband.

They seem to run true to size, I wear a size 6.5, ordered a 7 (normally I wear thick socks with boots) and as expected, they're a tad big. So order true to size, they don't seem to run small.

The quality of the boot is good, you can fold over the top flap, scrunch them down, or wear them straight up if you like.

My ONLY issue with these boots is that they're very, VERY generously cut in the shaft part. So if you're slender, these WILL be baggy on your calves. For me, it's not too much of a problem since I'll be wearing them cuffed and scrunched down for Renn Faire, but I would have preferred a more fitted boot shaft. But for the ladies who have muscular calves or curvier figures, I think you'll be very pleased. (and have no doubt that you'll rock these boots!)

All in all, very nice, comfortable boots, decent quality for the price.

At times it feels like I'm walking on air. I can't believe how great the shoe of this boot feels. Sometimes I find myself looking down at the boot because I can't believe how good they feel on my feet. It's hard for me to find shoes/boots that fit so well.
